Biography

I like music. My taste of genres is very eclectic. I think there exist more bad listeners than bad musics.
I grow up, listen to the music my parents always listened. German pop-songs, sometimes choirs.
In my youth I was a fan of the Woodstock-Movement - protesting aginst war and society.
My hair was long, I bought a twelve-string guitar and started to teach  myself. I wrote some songs but my way of life me shows other directions and soon I abandoned the music. That was in 1976 (arg!). My small LP collection containend The Beatles, Yes, Johnny Cash, Kiss, Deep Purple, The Who,  Soundtracks, Classics, Black Sabbath, Electronic Music, Country, all LPs from Woodstock (naturally), Gregorian Chants, Folk (mainly Irish), Mike Oldfield, Alan Parson, Eloy, New Age music and all types of Ethnomusic.

The Return

Well, sometimes in our live, we stumple "accidentally" into a situation.

It can be a good thing or a bad one, but its always something what we need at this moment. Maybe the meaning for us will reveale much later.

In my case I stumpled upon music, more specifically - I stumpled upon a DAW - a Digital Audio Workstation. At that time, it was in the end of december 2012, I didn´t know that this stuff even exist.

I opened the software, and saw a lot of crazy things inviting me for clicking - I was clicking frentically about 5 minutes, only to realized with a big sigh, that this type of executing didn´t work. Well - quickly I searched help from my privat guru - the Internet.

Some hours of digging in the cyberspace, the first step was done and I could hear the first tiny sound! I feeled great!

2013 and 2014 I produced three CDs, but mainly for my circle of my friends. I was more interested to learn animation with Blender (a extraordinary free software for this stuff). Only from middle of 2015 I started to go deeper into the work with the Digital Audio Workstation. I don´t know yet, where this way with the music will take me, I simply close my eyes and let me guide by the sounds.

The recipe to make music with a DAW is simple: first - all you need is love, and second: a quite good PC. If you have this two basics stuffs, you have to find out the technical part, how does the DAW of your choice and need works. But I´m sure you can do this. I also did!

Enough for today! Have a look around my homepage. Enjoy !
